2026-2027 Monthly Meetings at the Sanibel Public Library
Monthly (Member) Meetings are scheduled on the 3rd Thursday of the month from October thru April:
Time: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM - Location: Large meeting room on the ground floor of the library.
Monthly (Board of Directors) Meetings are
also
held on the 3rd Thursday of the month from October thru April:
Time: 9:30 AM – 11:15 AM on the same dates - Location: Small conference room on the upper level.
- October 15, 2026 - Location: Sanibel Public Library 1st floor. First meeting of season, no guest speaker.
- November 19, 2026 - Location: Sanibel Public Library 1st floor. Guest Speaker TBD.
- December 17, 2026 - Location: Sanibel Public Library 1st floor. Guest Speaker TBD.
- January 21, 2027 - Location: Sanibel Public Library 1st floor. Guest Speaker TBD.
- February 18, 2027 - Location: Sanibel Public Library 1st floor. Guest Speaker TBD.
- March 18, 2027 - Location: Sanibel Public Library 1st floor. Annual Meeting/Election of Officers.
- April 15, 2027 - Location: Sanibel Public Library 1st floor. Guest Speaker TBD.
Guest speakers are scheduled for all but 2 meetings due to other program planning.
Plein Air Paint Outs
Time: 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon
(All are welcome to our Paint Outs)
The Plein Air Schedule for the 2025-2026 season concluded April 30, 2026. The new 2026-2027 is currently in progress and will be posted in June.
The weekly in-person paint outs will resume in November.

The Sanibel Captiva Art League (SCAL) and The Sanibel Public Library offer the following art exhibit to Sanibel-Captiva Art League members only. To be held at the Sanibel Public Library, 770 Dunlop Rd, Sanibel, FL 33957.
This exhibit flows from the personal (Faces) to the collective (Places) to the philosophical (Spaces). The tone is thoughtful, immersive, and slightly atmospheric - encouraging quiet reflection while celebrating visual diversity in style and medium.
